We bid farewell to George William McDonald of Summerville, Oregon, born in La Grande, Oregon, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 22, 2024 at the age of 79. George William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Cecil and Lottie McDonald (Black); and his brother Cecil McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Karla Jean Lund; his children, Jeanne Ann White (Michael) of Newberg, Scott McDonald (Michelle) of Wallowa Lake, Jeffery McDonald (Tonia) of Cove, Mary Allen (Doug) of Pumpkin Ridge, Steven McDonald (Stephany) of Wilsonville and Mark McDonald (Brittanie) of Eugene; his close friends, Dave and Mindy Cross of Cove; his in-laws, Bess Nobel (Barry) of Eugene, Malissa Johnson (Rich) of Noble, OK, Leon Lund (Tootie) of Island City and Louanne McDonald of Imbler; and his sister Ann Zubi of Nazareth. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
