She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Birks and Norma Birks (Sommerfield); her daughter Sherry Moosman; and her siblings, Walter, Florence, Dorthy, Lillian, Russel, Betty and Emil.
She is survived by: her husband Carrel Hurst; her children, Curtis Hurst (Lillie) of Summerville, OR, Gene Hurst (Kathleen) of Eagle, ID, Greg Hurst (Shuree) of Pullman, WA and Lanna Dollar (Andy) of Kennewick, WA; and her sister Ruth Young of Bakersfield, CA. She is also survived by grandchildren; 20 adoring great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
