He was predeceased by: his parents, Carrel Hurst and Lois Hurst; his wife Esther Hurst; his daughter Sherry Moosman; and his siblings, Valda Shierling and Sid Hurst.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Hurst (Lillie) of Summerville, OR, Gene Hurst (Kathleen) of Eagle, ID, Greg Hurst (Shuree) of Pullman, WA and Lanna Dollar (Andy) of Kennewick, WA. He is also survived by grandchildren; 20 adoring great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
