We bid farewell to Ralph Elmer Glidewell (Stayton, Oregon), born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 16, 2025 at the age of 93. Ralph Elmer touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dexter Glidewell and Mabel Lee Holman Glidewell; his siblings, Lee Dexter Glidewell and Wilma Ruth Shelton; and his former wife Carroll Ann Pitts.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Shane Glidewell; his sister Carlene Nollen; his children, Scott Glidwell and Cori Kendall; and his stepsons, James and Gary Corral. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Weddle Funeral Service (1777 N 3rd Ave, Stayton, OR 97383).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made as a donation to the American Red Cross in Salem, Oregon.
