He was predeceased by: his brothers, Eugene, Gale, Norman and James. He is survived by: his brothers, Norm and Jim; his nieces and nephews, Herman Holm, Al Girod, Harold Longfellow and Mark Boedigheimer; his wife Helen; his sons, Jon (Kim) of Monmouth, Tom (Liz) of Hillsboro and Steve (Kaz) of Tigard; his grandchildren, Jeff Carey, Shannon Carey, Brian Carey (Jillian), Tyler Carey, Alex Carey, Serene Regen (Mike) and Jennifer Cresswell (Austin); and his great grandchildren, Rhyse Carey and Mina Cresswell.
