He was predeceased by: his father Clifton Loftin. He is survived by: his mother Charlene Loftin (Wylam); his sons, Andrew Loftin of Stayton and Timothy Loftin of Alabama; and his siblings, Roy Loftin, John Loftin, Jimmy Loftin and Reba Bullard. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
