She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Henry Laurick; her parents, James Hayer and Anna Hayer; her siblings, Dorothy Nelson and Robert Hayer; and her son-in-law Robert Heaton.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine Laurick Heaton, Thomas Laurick and James Laurick (Amy); her granddaughters, Laura Heaton (Conor Phillips), Jane Heaton (Evan Egener), Rachel Laurick and Macey Laurick; and her great grandchild Selma Alice Phillips Heaton.
