He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Asa (Peggy) and Charles Asa (Chuck). He is survived by: his wife Johna Day; his children, Brian Asa, Angie Asa (Brown) and James Asa (Jessica); his siblings, Dick Asa (Lila) and Lori Asa; and his grandchildren, Alexander Taylor, Shaundra Cook, Jacob Asa, Aiyanna Brown and Jules Asa.
