He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Edwards and Mae Rose Edwards (McKernan); his siblings, Michael Charles Edwards, Clarence Robert Edwards, Roberta Garr and Carol Straetz; and his stepson Robby Belluomini.
He is survived by: his former wife Susan Parris; his children, John Clinton, Jr. (J. C.), George Scott, J. C. Edwards, Scott Edwards, Crystal Edwards-Manuel and Tracy Brous; his siblings, James "Jim" Edwards, Anna Mae Stewart and Betty Aslin; and also, Tracy and Robby.
