She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Trude and Pearl Trude; and her children, Marlene Hansey Roberts (Doug), LaVonne Hansey Crimm (Ken) and Richard "Rick" Hansey (Shelly). She was also cherished by five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Junction City where she used her quilting skills to help make quilts donated to the Lutheran World Relief.
