He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Seifer (A. J.) and Hilda Seifer; his sister Carol (McDonald); and his daughter-in-law Nobuko. He is survived by: his wife Karen Monson; and his children, Eric (Melissa) of West Linn, Kristin Newland (Aaron) of Salem, Jason (Laura) of Salem and Melissa Briggs (David) of Silverton. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, and an extended family of siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Roger requested that he be remembered through donations to Silverton Area Community Aid, Inc. (SACA), Liberty House in Salem, or the Alzheimer's Association.
