He is survived by: his spouse Betty J. Fischer; his children, Michael Schaap and Michelle Scroggins; his grandchildren, Isaac, Olivia, Jackson and Sophia; and his siblings, Edgar Schaap, Lorraine Schaap and Phyllis Klein.
