It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Thompson of Silverton, Oregon, born in Salem, Oregon, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Velma Thompson and Orlo Thompson of Silverton; his former wife Carol Deforest; his son Mike; his granddaughters, Lisa and Audrey; his brother Marvin; his nephew Danny; his great-nephew William; his stepson Walter Norblad (Jennene); his grandchildren, Chloe and Albin; his great grandchild Virginia Norblad (Kyle Brager); his grandchildren, Myra, Derek and Koralyn; and also Melinda (Larry Korshet).
