He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Byrd and Letha Byrd (Benson); his wife Patricia Ann Byrd; and his children, Kimberly Rivas, Margaret Byrd and James Byrd. He was also cherished by 7 siblings, 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
