He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Ghiglia and Viola Ghiglia; his son John; his wife Margaret Rose Gwaltney of Silverton; his daughter Carolyn Tjaarda of Silverton; his children-in-law, Tom Tjaarda of Silverton and Alice Ghiglia; his grandsons, Josh (Darcy) of Marquam, Andrew (Devon) of Mt. Angel, Adam (Kasondra) of Aumsville and Grant (Alicia) of Silverton; and his great grandchildren, Haili, Trevor, Kiersten, Emily, Brook, Blake, Riley, Brody, Spencer and Carter.
Donations can be accepted in his honor at the Oregon Hunters Association or First Baptist Church of Silverton.
