He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his parents, Sallie Palmer of Largo and David Livingstone of Cardiff, Wales; his siblings, Karen Palmer of Victoria, British Columbia, Janine Palmer of London, Mark and Jody Palmer of Bewdley, England; his children, Em Palmer, Daphne Saul of Lake Oswego, Trystan and Shelby Palmer; his grandson Carson of Lakewood; and his son Ian Palmer of Milwaulkie, Oregon.. He is also survived by many loving cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Donations in his honor can be made to the Silverton Firefighter Association.
