He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Broussard Laurents and Omar Vinson Laurents; his stepfather William Clovis Chandler; and his sister Evelyn Laurents Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Lucille (Lucy); his daughter Angele Rogers; his son-in-law Andrew; his son Douglas Laurents; his daughter-in-law Nati; his daughter Katherine Edwards; his son-in-law Christian; his grandchildren, Steven, Thomas, Julia Fields, David, Rose Rogers, Luis, Marina Laurents, Ben and Rachel Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Ophelia, Andrew, Sebastian, Leonidas and Peter Rogers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
