He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Yackley and Gladys Yackley; his wife Joan Yackley (England); his children, Michael Yackley, Paul Yackley and Wendy Nelson; his siblings, Darlene McClay, Gloria Kleve, Ruth Risch and Roger Yackley; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Liam, Joshua and Ethan; and his sister Dorothy Fry. He was also cherished by numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church.
