He was predeceased by: his son Jeffery Rains. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Gotcher Rains; his stepsons, Forest Walton and James Jackson; his parents, Trish Rains (Scott) and Charles Thomas Rains (Patricia); his children, Wendy Rains, Ashley Rains and Micheal Dean Rains; his siblings, Angela Herren (Kyle), Matt Rains and Mark Rains (Kimberly); and his stepbrothers, Neil and Walt. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
