He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Wiebe and Anna Wiebe (Harms); his wife Darlene McElroy; his brother Norman Wiebe; and his grandchildren, Melissa Wheeler and John Mathiott.

He is survived by: his children, Diana Wheeler (Larry) of Bend, OR, Linda Niday of Green River, WY and Michael Wiebe (Charlotte) of Lebanon, OR.
