He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Schiel and Geraldine Schiel; his siblings, Trisha, Larry, Debbie, Steve and Norm; and his children, Amy, Mike, John, Kevin, Kelsey and Kaitlyn. He was also cherished by his children's friends.
