He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Fred Grace Thissell (Viola); his brother Richard (Dick); his children, Joanne (Peterson) and Kelly (Shauni Thissell); his brother Dick; his wife Clara Thissell; his children, Monte Thissell of Burns and Diane (Sam Duke); his brother Beverly Thissell of Burns; his sister-in-law Zora Thissell; his siblings, Don Thissell, Clyde, Walt, Glenn and Linda; and his sister-in-law Lucille Thissell. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
