He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Margaret Petty, J. C. and Madeline Hillin. He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Petty and Betsy Petty of Lewisburg; his sister Melissa Tankersley (Vance) of Lewisburg; his nephew Spence Tankersley; and his close friends, Justin Shields of Seaside, Erin Jones of Seaside, Lily Eglanter of Seaside and Josh Rhea of Nashville.
