He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Pogue and Helen Pogue (Larson); his sister Terri Pratt; his sister-in-law Thelma Rose; and his stepmother Harriet Pogue.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Crussell; his children, Kimberly Santos (Scott), Aaron Pogue (Emily) and Nathan Pogue (Chelsea); his grandchildren, Tobin, Lana Santos, Graham, Audrey, Brooks, Lewis, Melvin, Henry and Elijah Pogue; his brothers-in-law, Chris Rose and Joel Pratt; his nephew Matt Rose; and his nieces, Melissa Schacher (Mike), Amber Nelson and Elke Henry (Jeremy).
