He is survived by: his children, Mary Margret Murray and Randolph Gray Sykes; his brother Guam; his wife Lorene; his stepdaughter Valerie Gagnier (Matt); his grandson Henry; his close friend Patty James; his brothers, Norman, Michael (Gail), Jerry (Lynn), Darryl (Shauna) and Duane (Tami); and his nieces and nephews, Tyrus Sykes, Alex Sykes, John Ihle (Christina), Brandon Sykes, Jackie Sykes (Kristin), Bella Sykes, Rosie Sykes, Jessica Olmos (Robert), Tiffany Ihle, Rachel White (Jeff) and Crystal Romero.
