He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Parker Day and Frances Haworth Day; his wife Eileen Vandos; his son Jerry; and his siblings, Lionel, Howard, David, Pearl Biddle, Dorothy Davis and Mary Sylvester.
He is survived by: his daughters, Loretta "Lorie" Day of Everett, WA and Sandra; his son-in-law Robert Coe Jr. of Greensboro, NC; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Febe Day of Camano Island, WA; and his sisters, Margaret Milliern, Pat Sandels of Sacramento, CA and Charlotte Nicholls of Portland, OR. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
