With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Dobson Paterson of Scappoose, Oregon, born in Saint Helens, Oregon, who passed away on August 31, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Vivian Paterson; his wife Deloris Arleen Paterson (Cook); his father Jim Paterson; his brother Gene Paterson; and his grandson Tyler Holmes.
He is survived by: his children, James W. Paterson (Kathy) of Hillsboro and Dianne L. Holmes (Roy) of Gresham; and his sister Betty Hauss of St. Helens. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
