He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Stanton and Adeline Stanton; and his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his children, Guy, Mike, Debbie (Downs), Stephanie (Ryan) and Doug; his wife Diane; and his siblings, Maureen, Marge and Keith. He is also survived by his five children, 17 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mt Hood Hospice.
