He was predeceased by: his parents, John LaVere Allegar and Myrtle Henderson Allegar; and his brother John LaVere "Jack" Allegar, Jr.. He is survived by: his brother Art Allegar; and his children, David Scott Allegar, Dale Leon Allegar and Janice Cathleen Guthrie. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and Douglas Allegar, his nephew and his adult children.
