He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Melissa Roner (Josh) and Corey Smith (Cindy); his grandchildren, Quentin Smith (Lexi), Austin Smith (Katelyn Larsen) and Holden Roner; his daughter Shannan Chaney; his grandsons, Ethan and Eli Chaney; his siblings, Juliana Cutsforth (John) and Al Smith (Laurie); his siblings-in-law, Dick Clark (Norma), Carol Burck, Rose Clark and Kathy Smith; and his caregiver Vicki. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the North Third (282 N 3rd Ave, Stayton, OR 97383).
