He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Dearden of Henefer, Utah.; his parents, Bryan Ray, Sr. and Agnus Heiner Seare; and his siblings, Marian J. Kirk (Seare) and Bryan Ray Seare, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Paul Dearden Seare (Julia White), Mark Heiner Seare (Debbie Hoffmann), Dianne (Seare), Bangerter (Bruce Bangerter), Joseph Roswell Seare (Tina Catterson), Kimberly Ann (Seare) and Petersen (Mike Petersen).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the general or humanitarian funds of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
