Joan Heather Harmsen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Heather Harmsen of Salem, Oregon, who passed away on March 19, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelina Challen and John Clement; her husbands, Vincent and Jerry (Jerry); her daughter Linda Gesler; and her stepdaughter Rosalie Perry.
She is survived by: her children, John Harmsen (Linda) of Williamsburg, VA, Heather Kopperud of Portland, OR, David Harmsen (Christi) of Portland, OR and Victoria Harmsen of Portland, OR; and her stepdaughter Carolyn Newell of Turner, OR. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, one step-grandson, and three great-grandchildren.
