He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Della Webb and Delbert Brent Burks; and his sister Katherine Schutt. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Hurinenko Burks; his children, Ronald L. Burks and Glenda M. Gheen (Jeff); his granddaughters, Kristin M. Gheen, Rachel A. Buono and Nicole A. Burks; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Kaleb, Hazel, Emerald and Vin; and his siblings, Jack Burks, Kent Burks, Barbara Burks and Bonnie Coronado.
