With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jean Winrod of Salem, Oregon, born in Denton, Montana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rada and Ella Rada (Thisselle); her former husbands, Leo Smith and John Winrod; and her siblings, LaVerne Peterson and Floyd Rada.
She is survived by: her niece Cheryl Moderie; her brother Fred Rada; her daughters, Lori Pettenger (Doug) of Salem, Oregon and Lisa Chambers (Bryan) of The Dalles, Oregon; her grandchildren, Lewis, Jeffrey Pettenger, Darren Smith, Marla McColly and Janelle Batista-Cruell; and her great grandchildren, Tayah, Faith, Jayda, Grace, Jaliyah, Norah, Audrey, Antonio and Dawson.
