He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Smith and Hannah Smith (Rathbun); and his sister Betty. He is survived by: his wife Marian Smith; his children, Karen, Gwen, David and Larry; his stepchildren, Catherine, Sara, Doreen, Judi and Rick; and his grandchildren, Jeff, Betsy, Taryn, Kelsey, Gary, Lucas and Jessica. He is also survived by many step grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
