He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavere Pense and Violet Pense (Riley); and his sister Cathy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Ginger; his sons, James Jr. (Andrea), David (Julie) and Don (Windy); and his siblings, John, Deb, Jerry and Colice. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Christian Church of St. Helens (185 S 12th St, St Helens, OR 97051). A reception was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
