She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma Scherner (Joyce) and Freddie Rae Scherner; and her sister Marilee Scherner Olson. She is survived by: her siblings, Carolyn Scherner and Thomas Scherner; her granddaughter Serena Lynn; her husband Frederick Verl Skeels; and her daughters, Diana Liz Dettwyler of Salem, Leanne Marie Bennett (Steve) of Twin Falls and Serena Lynn Morones (Tony) of Idanha. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
