He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Cook and Laura Cook (Van Devender); his wife Ruth Adelaide Crouch; his grandson Jonathan; and his siblings, Richard, Ruthie, Annie, Esther, Willis, Irene, Stanley, Julie, George and Ethel.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Cook (Kerry) of Redmond, OR, Louise Vickery (Tom) of Eleva, WI, David Cook (Ronnie Hess) of Momence, IL, Irene Flack of Santa Rosa, CA and Clayton Cook (Paula Hansen) of Santa Rosa, CA.; and his sister Patricia Betts of Summerfield, FL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 greatgrandchildren.
A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Roseburg National Cemetery (913 NW Garden Valley Blvd, Roseburg, OR 97471). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. Following Ruth's passing in 2019, Lloyd sat out the pandemic in Redmond OR, and then moved to his sister Julie's house in Illinois, where he had planned to stay.
