He is survived by: his former wife Ethel McCommis; his children, Trina Lee (Schnell) and Kevin Allen; his wife Rita Thompson Burks; his children, David Scott Burks (Carol Ann) and Ginger Sprinkle; and his grandchildren, Melissa, Karina, Melody, Daniel, Nikki, Brett and Ben. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
