Renee A. Peterson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2024, at the age of 90, Renee A. Peterson in Rogue River, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Renee find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alta Stamm (Montgomery) and John Albert Clark. She is survived by: her husband Leonard "Pete" Peterson; her children, Sherri Masterson (Joe), Gary Peterson (Lisa) and Terri Cox (Bruce); and her stepson Jim Peterson (Christie). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, cousins, and nieces/nephews.

Since moving to Rogue River, Oregon, over 40 years ago, she immediately began what was to become many years of local volunteer work including the Chamber of Commerce, Woodville Museum, Community Center, founder of a local group called TOPS-Take off Pounds Sensibly, coordinating local fundraisers and Food Bank donations, and she founded a local chapter of the Red Hats Ladies (River Belles.).
