We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2022, at the age of 62, Douglas William Pilant of Rockaway Beach, Oregon, born in Jerome, Idaho passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Pilant and Kathryn Pilant (Durfee). He is survived by: his children, Bryan Riester, Hannah Pilant of Portland Oregon, Jerrod Pilant of Willamina Oregon, Justin Pilant and Bailey Pilant of New York; and his grandchildren, Madison, Kaiden, Laylina and Xavi.

Doug was immensely proud of his career in public transit and is highly respected for his contributions to Oregon's public transit.
