He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Nellie; his significant other Barbara Durham; and his siblings, Gerry Sr., Norman, Bobby, Clifford, Lyla Pauline, Gloriann and June.
He is survived by: his daughters, Hilaire Gipson and Jennifer Hays (Scott Harris); his grandson Samuel Hays; his siblings, Ken, Ray (Joan), Charlie (Liz), Marilyn Kelly and Phyllis Strain; and also, Princess Rose and Toby. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
