Scott Glenn Funge Obituary
Oregon native Scott Glenn Funge left this world peacefully on the 29th of October after a courageous and private battle with cancer. Born in Portland, Scott grew up in Milwaukie. Most days of his youth you would find Scott either hiking, fishing, rafting or competing in whatever sport the season offered with a band of brothers with whom he would share a lifetime of mischief.
In 1999 Scott married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Kim. Together they raised their son Jake. Showing him love and sharing their knack for adventure they took Jake traveling around the states and the world. When Jake showed an interest in hockey not only did Scott encourage him, he laced up and started playing in an adult hockey league as well. Once this happened, Scott transformed into one of the most passionate supporters of the game.
Scott was a business owner for a manufacturing company in Wilsonville he put his heart and soul into the company. He was a dedicated hard worker and incredibly proud of the team he worked with.
In the last portion of his life Scott fulfilled a longstanding desire to move to Central Oregon. He enjoyed his final days in their beloved home in Sisters, Oregon.
A loving husband, father and brother. He leaves behind his wife, Kim; and son, Jake.
A Private Celebration of Life is being planned.
In lieu of Flowers please donate to your favorite charity in his honor.
