Marilea Hanna Dooley passed away peacefully on October 29, 2022 at the age of 87. She was born in the town of Kingstree, South Carolina on April 22, 1935 to William James and Ruby Stone Hanna and was raised there with her four siblings.
Marilea moved to Washington State and met and married the love of her life, Robert Carr who passed away in 2015. They had three daughters together. In 1988 she divorced Bob and then she married Virgil Dooley a year later in 1989. He passed away in 2006.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Ikey Brown, brother Billy Hanna, nephews Harris "Fritz" Brown, Jr. and James Brown, niece Cindy Hanna, great-nephew Chris Brown, and son-in-law Mike Muncey.
Marilea is survived by her three daughters, Bobbilea Muncey of Ridgefield, WA, Ruby (Thomas) Welinski of Camas, WA, and Shirley (Patrick) Overman of Bend, OR; sister Jimmie (Arminius) Epps of St. Simons Island, Georgia and brother Buddy (Brenda) Hanna of Dalzell, SC; three grandchildren, Robert (Michelle) Nelson, Patrick (Ayesha) Overman, Jr., and Chris (Amber) Overman; and five great-grandchildren, Emmalea (Andrew) Ayala, Zachary Nelson, N/A Overman, Iris Overman, and Matthew Overman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
