He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary MacDonald and Curt Emil Klotz; his wife Shelley Klotz of Bend; his children, Pamela, Michael Klotz and Kimberly Zapolli; his sisters, Grace Hudtloff and Faith Nardoni (Gigi); his grandchildren, Frederick Johnson, Ashley Trottier, Margaret Bock and Noah Klotz-Clark; and his great grandchildren, Alice and Lola Trottier.
He went to flight school in Fort Rucker, Alabama, which laid the foundation for his passion for aeronautics.
