She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ray Brown and Florence Brown; her husband Fred Akins Jr.; and her children, Sheryl McQuig (Paul), Roseanna Juhola (Glenn Wright), Marvin Akins (Connie), Gifford Akins (Tiffany), Deena Perrine and Brenda Shaw (Bill Smith). She was also cherished by 15 Grandchildren, 32 great Grandchildren, and 2 great great Grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
