With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin Leroy Halstead of Prineville, Oregon, born in Primrose, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2024 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Halstead and Marceline Halstead; and his daughter Michelle Rene. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Halstead; his children, Robert Halstead, Cheri and Bob Cook; his grandchildren, Brian, Lovelyn Halstead, Bobbie, Wayne Thomasson, Brandie and Larry McNamee; and his great grandchildren, Analise, Kaden Thomasson, Addie, Avery, Alex McNamee, Johnathan, Josephina, Johanna and Jocelyn Halstead.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mitchell Baptist Church (209 SE High St, Mitchell, OR 97750).
