He was predeceased by: his father Jerry Rogers; and his son Avery. He is survived by: his mother Mary Rogers of Union, Iowa.; his wife Judy Rogers of Riverton, Wyoming.; his sons, Michael Rogers (Jamie), Chase Rogers and Levi Rogers (Olga); his siblings, Brent Rogers (Ann), Brenda Horst (Wendell), Linsey Rogers and Kelly Rogers (Carmen); and his grandchildren, Lane, Brazos, Lily, Halle, Theodore and Avie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial fund for youth organizations in Iowa is being established.
