It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Lynn Hale of Prineville, Oregon, who passed away on May 12, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Leland has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lena Jane Durst Hale; and his siblings, Lester Hale, Lucille Hale, Lavelle Ferguson and Loretta Lein.
He is survived by: his wife LaRue Hale; his children, David Hale (Laurie) of Provo, DeAnna Simpson of Prineville and Debbie Bingham (Lawrence) of Grand Ledge, Michigan.; and his siblings, Lloyd Hale (Raydon) of West Linn, Larry Hale (Bonnie) of Oregon City and Lavonne Hale of Portland. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
