She is survived by: her husband Jim McDonald; her stepchildren, Janine Simpson of North Carolina, Marcia Graner of California, Steven Johannsen (Daryl) of California and Michael Johannsen of California; and her sisters, Dolores Brennan (Don) of Iowa City and Vivian Witbracht (Bob) of Prineville, Oregon. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
